The Troy Colts battled their way to an impressive 36–29 victory over a tough Athens team Tuesday night in a competitive league matchup filled with energy and intensity from start to finish. Troy showed strong composure throughout the game, responding to key moments with poise while controlling the boards and playing connected team basketball. The Colts’ rebounding effort and disciplined defensive play helped set the tone, while the bench provided electric energy that fueled momentum throughout the night. AC led all scorers with 15 points to pace Troy offensively. Maci Zeiter contributed five points, while Courtney, LA, Olivia Spangler, and Carly Higginbotham each added four points in a balanced scoring effort that reflected a true team win. The atmosphere was outstanding, with strong support creating a playoff-like environment as the Colts continued to build momentum heading into postseason play. Earlier in the evening, Troy’s JV team also secured a victory, completing a successful night for the program. The Troy Colts finish their regular season with a non-league matchup against Lake Orion on Friday night. All three teams will be in action one final time before District play begins on Wednesday.
