Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Troy High Victory Over Clawson Varsity Trojans

April 13, 2026 | Troy Softball Troy High pulled off a dramatic 5–4 walk‑off win Monday night in front of the home crowd. Trailing 4–3 entering the bottom of the fifth inning, Troy capitalized on pressure and persistence, scoring two runs on an error to seal the victory. Troy High got on the board first in the opening inning after an error allowed the first run to score. The team extended the lead to 2–0 in the bottom of the third, again taking advantage of a defensive mistake. After the game was tied in the fourth, Troy responded with aggressive baserunning and composure at the plate, scoring on a passed ball to keep momentum on its side. In the circle, Sobotka went the distance for Troy High, striking out four while battling through five innings. Defensively, Troy High was sharp and composed, playing error‑free softball and making the routine plays when it mattered most. At the plate, King drove in a run, while Higginbotham and Sobotka each added a hit. Seestedt showed great plate discipline, drawing two walks. Overall, Troy High worked counts well and drew six walks as a team. Troy High will be back in action Tuesday home vs. Bloomfield Hills.
