Welcome Back, Coach Aaron Smith! Troy High School Athletics is excited to welcome Aaron Smith back to the Colts family as our new Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach! Coach Smith is a proud Troy High School graduate and brings extensive coaching experience and a strong connection to our community. He previously coached at Troy High from 2000–2015, serving as a JV coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. From 2015–2026, Coach Smith continued his coaching career at Royal Oak High School. In addition to his high school coaching experience, Coach Smith works for the Detroit Pistons as Director of Youth Engagement and Development, where he helps grow the game of basketball and positively impact young athletes throughout the community. We are thrilled to bring a Troy High alumnus back home to lead our Boys Basketball program. Congratulations, Coach Smith, and welcome back to the Colts family! Go Colts!
