Congrats to Coach Gary Fralick's MHSCA Hall of Fame Induction Today

Gary William Fralick Inducted into the MHSCA Hall of Fame Today, we celebrate a true legend of Troy High School and Michigan high school athletics — Gary William Fralick, who was officially inducted into the Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Coach Fralick’s journey began at Kensington Academy in Bloomfield, where he coached middle school basketball, baseball, and soccer. His first varsity high school opportunity came at Thurston High School in Redford, where he led the boys’ basketball team to the Northwest Suburban League Conference Title in 1983. He later moved to Kimball High School in Royal Oak before finding his home at Troy High in 1988. At Troy, Fralick served in a variety of roles — assistant boys’ varsity coach, assistant girls’ varsity coach, freshmen boys’ and girls’ coach, and JV girls’ coach — before becoming the Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach in 1994. Since then, he has built one of the most successful programs in the region. His teams have captured: 5 Southeastern Michigan Conference Titles 5 OAA Conference Titles 13 OAA Championships 2 Regional Championships With an extraordinary career record of 608 wins and 442 losses, Coach Fralick has left an indelible mark on generations of student-athletes and the Troy community. This fall, his remarkable career will be further recognized when he is inducted into the BCAM Hall of Fame on October 5. Congratulations to Coach Fralick on this well-deserved honor and thank you for your lasting contributions to Troy High School athletics.
